Dr. AJAY HANDA joined Bangalore Baptist Hospital in 2020. He has post-graduate degree in Medicine from AFMC Pune 1997 & DM (Pulmonology & Critical Care Medicine) from PGIMER Chandigarh in 2006. He is an Experienced Pulmonologist and Interventional Pulmonologist with special interest in ILD, Sarcoidosis, Pulmonary Hypertension and Drug Induced Lung Diseases. He is also a Professor of Internal Medicine with over 2 decades of teaching experience.

Dr Ajay Handa has 35 publications in peer reviewed Journals and books, these include original research articles on Noninvasive ventilation in Acute hypoxemic respiratory failure, Acute respiratory failure in Tuberculosis, Correlation of cytology and with biopsy in Lung diseases, Chemotherapeutic drug induced lung diseases and Pulmonary Alveolar Proteinosis.
He has been a contributing author in three landmark Publications in Lung India on National guidelines on Diagnosis and treatment of Pneumonias, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and Spirometry.
He has as published several reviews and chapters in books on varied topics as Oxygen therapy during Air travel, High altitude related illnesses, treatment of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, treatment of Pulmonary Hypertension, role of bronchoscopy in diffuse lung diseases, Pulmonary Sarcoidosis and Obstructive sleep Apnea syndrome.
